Even if you're just stopping by to meet us, we're excited to welcome you and your pup to the Hound House family!

To help ensure every dog enjoys a safe, healthy, and happy experience, we've put together a few simple requirements before your first visit:

  • Spay & Neuter: All guests must be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age. Female dogs may not be in heat while in our care. Puppies under 9 months of age must also provide a negative fecal test from a licensed veterinarian before participating in daycare or boarding.

  • New Guest Orientation: Every new guest must complete a New Guest Orientation (Meet & Greet) at least 24 hours before their first daycare or boarding visit. This gives your pup a chance to meet our team, explore our environment, and make sure they’re comfortable before their first daycare or boarding visit.

  • Out-of-State Guests: Dogs visiting from outside Nevada must complete a Meet & Greet at least 24 hours before their first stay and must be vaccinated against Leptospirosis (Lepto).

  • Vaccinations: For the health and safety of every guest, all dogs must be current on their required vaccinations before entering our guest-only areas. We accept vaccination records only from licensed veterinary clinics. Required vaccinations include Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP or DA2P), and Leptospirosis (effective September 1, 2026). While not required, we also strongly recommend the Canine Influenza (H3N8/H3N2) vaccine.

We know these requirements may seem like a lot at first, but they're an important part of creating the fun, safe, and healthy environment our guests (and their humans!) have come to expect.
